Why we use credits #
As WeatherWise grows, we’re launching more tools — from detailed reports to advanced integrations and AI features.
To keep things simple and flexible, we’ve introduced a universal credit system. This lets you:
- Pay only for what you need
- Combine modules and features to suit your needs — simply, flexibly, and without paying for extras you don’t use
- Unlock value instantly — no delays, no red tape
How credits work #
Credits are used to unlock modules inside WeatherWise. A module could be a:
- Report (e.g. Plan Impact, Historical Weather)
- Integration (e.g. Primavera, Power BI)
- Forecast or Alerting tool
- Insurance or financial export
Each module has a clearly listed credit cost, shown before you unlock it.
Using credits with the AI chatbot #
The WeatherWise AI assistant can help you interrogate reports, automate workflows, and generate insights faster.
- Low-credit actions: Asking the chatbot to analyse or explain data from a module you’ve already unlocked costs a small amount of credit.
- High-credit actions: If you instruct the AI to generate a new report, connect an integration, or trigger a workflow that requires an unlocked module, it will prompt you first before spending more credits.
You’re always in control — nothing is spent without your confirmation.
Types of access #
You can unlock modules in two ways:
🔓 One-time unlocks (pay-as-you-go) #
- Spend credits to access the module
- No commitment
- Great for reports, quick exports, or one-off analysis
🔁 Subscriptions (monthly or annual) #
- Pay monthly (cancel any time) or annually (best value)
- Unlimited use of the module while your subscription is active
- Ideal for recurring tools like integrations or AI alerts
Payments via Stripe #
All credit purchases and subscriptions are powered by Stripe, a trusted global platform used by millions of businesses. Stripe makes it:
- Secure – All transactions are encrypted and PCI compliant
- Simple – Pay by card or bank in just a few clicks
- Flexible – Switch between one-time purchases and subscriptions easily
- Transparent – View and download all invoices through your Admin Dashboard
Getting started #
- Every user receives free credits each month to try out the platform
- You’ll be notified if a feature you’re using will require additional credits
- You can top up at any time or upgrade to a subscription for unlimited use of key tools

Running lots of reports across many projects? A credit bundle or subscription will often work out cheaper — and faster — than buying one by one.
